Purpose

Choose between a single fluid domain and conjugate heat transfer between fluid and solid domains.

Steps

1. In Geometry, choose Fluid or Conjugated heat transfer in Simulation type.

   

2. For Fluid, prepare one closed fluid volume. For conjugate heat transfer, prepare at least two closed volumes.
3. Mesh the model, then assign domain types, materials, and interface thermal settings in Setup.

Limitations

• CHT and multiple volume domains require a Pro license. Each domain must be a closed volume; touching regions need a consistent interface.
