CFxD — Flow modeling for engineers

CFxD is an integrated CFD application built to simplify engineering simulation. It combines the full workflow in one consistent environment—reducing manual steps and keeping projects organized.

Overview

CFxD supports a streamlined CFD process from model preparation to post-processing. The interface is designed to be approachable for new users while remaining efficient for experienced engineers.

Key capabilities

  • Geometry creation/import and model preparation
  • Mesh generation with statistics and quality checks
  • Physics models and boundary-condition setup with sensible defaults
  • Solver execution with convergence monitoring
  • Post-processing: contours, vectors, plots, and reporting

Why CFxD

  • Fewer manual steps and cleaner project organization
  • Consistent workflow designed for practical engineering use
  • Built-in documentation and contextual in-app help

Who it’s for

CFxD is intended for engineers who need reliable CFD results without spending time on repetitive setup and file management.

Licensing and Downloads

Demo (default)

CFxD can be downloaded and installed with a default Demo license. The Demo mode allows evaluation of the workflow and core features.

Basic license

The Basic license can be purchased directly from within the application. After purchase, the license is activated on the machine and enables full functionality according to the plan.

Recommended workflow

  • Download and install CFxD (Demo mode).
  • Run tutorials/examples to validate the workflow for the target use case.
  • Purchase and activate the Basic license from inside the app when ready.
