Purpose

Create a point or select a boundary face at which to monitor solution quantities.

Steps

  1. Select Point in Monitoring point/face to define a point.

    Create monitoring point/face controls

  2. Enter X, Y, and Z in Input and create the point.

  3. For face monitoring, select an available boundary patch from the face list.

  4. Open the new entry in Monitoring entities and choose the variable to monitor.

Limitations

  • Empty point coordinates are treated as zero. Place point monitors inside the domain. Available variables depend on the selected physical models.
