Purpose

Set the stopping limit and, for transient simulations, the physical time controls.

Steps

  1. Select Steady or Transient first.

    Iterations controls

  2. For Steady, enter the total iteration limit.
  3. For Transient, enter total time, time step, and iterations per time step. Review the enabled controls after changing physical models.

Limitations

  • Reaching an iteration or time limit does not prove convergence. High-speed and mixture cases use model-specific time controls; check their enabled fields after changing models.
