Purpose

Select a laminar or turbulence-modelled fluid simulation.

Steps

  1. Choose Laminar or Turbulent in Flow mode.

  2. If Turbulent is selected, choose the turbulence Model and check wall treatment and boundary turbulence inputs.

Limitations

  • Choose the model based on the flow physics and required accuracy. A turbulence model does not explicitly resolve all turbulent fluctuations or guarantee an accurate transition prediction.
