Result → Post point

Sample a result quantity at a specified location.

Select the Point tool.
Enter X, Y, and Z in Input and create the point.
Click its entry in Post entities to choose a variable and inspect the sampled value.

Input or value	Meaning	Units
Coordinates / lengths	Use the unit displayed beside the field.	m (SI); ft (Imperial)
Result variable	The field to sample at the current saved time.	Use the variable label

Empty coordinates are treated as zero. Place the point inside the mesh; a location without field data cannot provide a meaningful sample. The point is displayed as a red marker.
