Purpose

Generate a mesh from the current geometry and meshing settings.

Steps

  1. Check global size, refinement, wall treatment, and maximum meshing time.

    Generation controls

  2. Click Generate. Click the same button while generation is running to stop it.
  3. After completion, review cell count, mesh quality, and the mesh view before choosing To Setup.

Limitations

  • Restarting interrupted mesh generation begins again from scratch. A progress indication alone does not confirm that a complete mesh is available.
