Purpose
Check the active license and understand the limits relevant to a simulation.
Steps
- Read the license label on the right of the status bar: DEMO, BASIC, or PRO.
- In Demo mode, click Buy license to open the purchase page. With Basic, click the license label for upgrade options.
- Check that the license supports the required cell count, CPU count, and physics before preparing a large case.

Limitations
- The available controls and limits depend on the active license. A Pro license is required for conjugate heat transfer, multiple volume domains, and non-Newtonian fluid modeling. Power law currently supports incompressible, isothermal, single-fluid laminar calculations.
