Purpose

Reveal interior cells by clipping the mesh along a global axis.

Steps

1. Choose X, Y, or Z in the cutting controls.

   

2. Move the slider to position the cut along the chosen axis.

   

Inputs and units

Axis	Normal direction of the cutting plane.	X, Y, or Z
Cut position	Slider location across the mesh extent.	Relative position, 0–100%

Limitations

• Large meshes may update slowly. Visual artifacts during cutting do not by themselves indicate a mesh defect.
