Purpose

Follow the five stages from geometry to a checked simulation result.

Steps

1. Geometry: create or import closed volumes and give important faces useful names.

   

2. Mesh: set global and local cell sizes, generate the mesh, and inspect its quality.
3. Setup: choose models, assign materials and boundaries, and configure iterations or simulation time.
4. Solution: run the solver and inspect residuals, monitored quantities, and balance indicators.
5. Result: inspect the saved solution with points, lines, planes, and reports.

Limitations

• Each stage checks its required inputs before transfer. Revisit downstream settings after changing geometry or mesh. A completed run alone does not establish accuracy.
